Key Features Implemented:
- Intuitive user interface designed to mirror the workflow of typical end users; Work orders are created by selecting a patient encounter, entering pertinent order details, and then adding the items and services being ordered along with their quantities and/or duration; Unit prices are pre-populated (but editable) based on items and services selected and all subtotals and totals are computed automatically as values are entered and modified
- Support for backoffice operations such as invoicing and processing of payments towards invoices; Invoices linked to work orders and supports billing to multiple parties; Invoices can be exported to neatly formatted PDF files for easy printing
- Ability to generate work order authorization and discharge letters; Letters can be constructed by assembling pre-defined text templates and includes a spell check feature
- Robust user administration scheme leveraging Windows Integrated Authentication; Five pre-built user roles allow different areas of the application to be locked down based on job function; Administration area allows user management and ability to configure the items and services available to users when creating work orders
- Report generation in PDF format
