Description: Utility for importing data from CSV files into MS CRM 3.1
Key Features Implemented:
- Simple, intuitive interface facilitating data importation in just a few simple steps.
- Ability to import data for any entity in CRM, including GaleForce logical entities for financial accounts which are not supported by other tools. Microsoft CRM Bulk Import Wizard supports only a few commonly used entities.
- Ability to import data for related/lookup fields (e.g. primary contacts associated with companies, currencies associated with financial accounts, etc). Feature not offered by Microsoft CRM Bulk Import.
- Intelligent field mapping mechanism which automatically attempts to map fields in CSV file to the best matching attributes of the relevant entity in CRM.
- Ability to save field mappings to an XML file for reuse and/or modification at a later time. Feature not offered by Microsoft CRM Bulk Import.
- Detailed error logging explaining exactly why certain records cannot be imported or why they failed to import (e.g. invalid data type, duplicate record, etc.)
- Ability to validate data before importing it.
- Configurable duplicate detection mechanism which allows users to ignore/skip duplicates, update records determined to be duplicates while creating records that do not exist, and allowing duplicates.
